Passive house in Mersch
This passive house in Mersch represents a perfect example of integration between ecological architecture and intelligent home automation. Our mission was to design a KNX system that complements and optimises the passive characteristics of the building.
The installation includes advanced energy management that integrates the photovoltaic panels, battery storage, heat pump and heat recovery ventilation system. The KNX system orchestrates these various elements to maximise self-consumption and minimise energy needs.
The house also features intelligent control of lighting, blinds and openings, programmed to optimise solar gains according to the seasons. A KNX weather station makes it possible to anticipate climate changes and adapt the behaviour of the house accordingly.
The owners can monitor their energy production and consumption in real time via a dedicated interface, which also offers recommendations for further optimising their energy efficiency.
